We're here to help
Our treatment services are available for anyone affected by problem gambling across England, Scotland and Wales for anyone aged 16 and over. Your GamCare practitioner can help you understand your relationship with gambling, and will also help you develop strategies to deal with difficult situations in ways which don’t rely on gambling. The Gambling Therapy forums are available 24/7. You can use the journal forums to write about your own recovery from gambling problems, or choose the friends and family area if you are affected by someone else’s gambling.

We here at the Gordon Moody Association have found that a serious gambling addiction is not something that you can free yourself from without help and without changing the way you think, feel and behave. You will need to look at your life; the experiences that may make you feel different from everyone else; and then plan the way forward taking into account the strains, stresses, aims and ambitions that make you gamble.

To apply for a position please complete the online form available by clicking the relevant button below.
Male Residential Treatment Centres – two unique specialist centres, providing an intensive residential treatment programme for people with a gambling addiction
Retreat & Counselling Programme for Women – offering a female specific programme which combines a short-stay residential retreat with remote/at-home counselling support
Retreat & Counselling Programme for Men – offering a male specific programme which combines a short-stay residential retreat with remote/at-home counselling support.
All application forms are retrieved Monday to Friday between 09:00 & 16:00. We try in all cases to contact you within 48 hrs of your application being received. However, any applications received during the weekend will not be retrieved until Monday 9am as such may be longer. Should you need urgent help please contact Gambling Therapy or GamCare
Any information you provide will be treated confidentially. On receipt of your application you will then be contacted, and a telephone interview will be arranged at a time to suit you.
